So, upon waking up today, I learned that Nvidia had released a new driver set (295.73). Cool, after waiting 2 months, I had another chance to get my video card scaling working again.
Wrong. These drivers behave identical to the previous set, or indeed, ANY driver set I try to use: they simply refuse to set scaling.
I am on a DVI connection, on a 1920×1080 monitor. The scaling worked before, until I did some system cleaning. WHY did it suddenly break on me?
I probably will never know.. but eh… it’s whatever. I just find it very annoying to use the monitors scaling when I shouldn’t HAVE to.
