Getting back onto the video game scene, we have the first proper video in the Game Players magazine gametape series. There are about 10 of these to come, with me already having covered the Super Mario Bros. 2 tape, and the Power Glove tape.
This video features the games Double Dragon, Bionic Commando, Milon’s Secret Castle, and Robowarrior. The tapes aren’t there best early on, skipping some elements on games like Milon’s Secret Castle, but going in to great detail on Double Dragon – they are hit and miss. Also, be prepared to be annoyed by the “slow mo” feature of the controllers they use in the video, which simply pause and unpause the game repeatedly. Hey, it was hard times back in those days, ya took what you could get in gaming help.
