Yet another rocket launch to cover is the early morning (local time) launch of the Soyuz MS-04 behicle to the International Space Station. After a 6 hour flight, the 2 person crew of Fyodor Yurchikhin, and (on his first space flight) Jack D. Fischer successfully docked to the International Space Station.
This mission has a smaller crew ,2 instead of the normal 3, as Russia cuts back on its crewed presence on the ISS in preparation for the arrival of the Nauka module to the ISS sometime in the upcoming 2 years.
This was another spectacular launch from Baikonour Cosmodrome. No Korolev cross this time, but still some spectacular views!
If I get ahold of a good “best of” clip, I’ll be sure to post it as its own article later. Enjoy!
