What’s Coming For August 2017 On Xadara

Well, my plans for July 2017 were barely accomplished to any real degree! The whole month was filled with far more activity than I was expecting, and not of the kind that I was wanting to cover – between absolute stupidity here in Memphis (read here and here) , a flurry of SpaceX related news (along with me finally deciding to tear into the more horrible aspects of their fan base), Photobucket failing like you wouldn’t believe, and other events in space history kind of filled up July.

Space seemed to be a dominant theme this past month.

So, yeah, August. I’m still planning a bit more focus on gaming, but not just general discussion – I’m going to go deeper into niche subjects, while at the same time giving my thoughts on the more broad state of gaming today. Of course, the past will still be addressed in full force, but yeah, basically, I’m overdue for saying quite a bit of stuff.

AVGN episode reviews will continue, as will commentary on other videos I find that are worth sharing – that certainly won’t change, at least not in the foreseeable future, and such is always a nice break from the normal things that fill the site.

Other than that, I’ve been so damned productive this past month (46 articles, counting this one, this July) that I feel like I need to slow down a bit. We’ll see what happen, but I do know I’m going to diversify a bit more what I do write about. It gets old covering the same basic topics day in, day out; I can only imagine what professional journalists feel after a few years, if I’m already tired of writing about SpaceX just this month alone!

So, what’s my point on this update? Basically, July was chaotic, hopefully August won’t be. We will see, but at least it went better than June, but I still didn’t accomplish what I set out to do.

Here’s to August! Let’s have some fun!
