Why I Share Random YouTube Videos

Some of you who follow my work on this site the past few months will notice that I often share YouTube videos, and provide some commentary or discussion surrounding it. The reason behind this is simple: The video, usually, interests me, and either I want to share it with you, or I want to provide commentary along with sharing it with you.

For example, with my love of space exploration and the history around it, I naturally enjoy and want to share videos on the subject, as well as discuss why I think this is important to share, or more in depth explanation on what people can expect in the video.

On the flip side, with videos like, for example, Monster Madness by James Rolfe, this is just content I enjoy myself, and I thought it would be a great way to share it with others if I condensed it into small, 5 episode segments, and shared it with you, so you could enjoy it as I did.

If others make a video that covers a major topic I care about, such as gaming, then I will share that too, and when there are current events such as rocket launches, or promotional videos for new games, well, it would detract from the subject if I didn’t share that video.

So yeah, if you ever wonder why I share so many videos and have a small article around them, that’s why. Either to share it with you, to add to the discussion, or for it to provide a better explanation to something than I could alone.
