Winter Illness, Vintage Computers, And More – An Update

I might as well start making these update posts a common thing, especially for the next few months as things get more and more crazy by the day. Let’s go over the past week and a half or so, shall we?

Between the awesome experience of going to a friends wedding, and many many awesome thrifting finds (which I will do videos on eventually) I’ve had some less enjoyable events happen; namely, getting sick a with what I have to guess would be a sinus infection. I’m almost over it, but between work and being sick I just haven’t had the energy to work much of anything, at least, here on the internet.

What you can’t see is me spending quite a bit of time (literally hours) watching videos on vintage computers and the gaming scene of the late 80’s and early 90’s, primarily from a non-American perspective, which will provide me a ton of content to write on in the upcoming months – possibly over the next year easily, off and on. I have ideas but I’m waiting until I feel a little better to really get off the ground with them. Beyond that, I’ve spent far more time than I should working with my own personal 1980’s computer setup (my awesome Commodore 128) trying to perfect it. I have quite a bit to write about the machine in the next few days (hopefully) which should prove interesting to those who really enjoy such old hardware and the like.

Beyond that, there are quite a few things going on in “news that interests Chris” today that I will write about in the morning.

For now though, I leave you with this simple update to keep you informed, albeit very vaguely, on what’s been going on and what’s going through my mind. I’ve got some site additions planned as well, so keep an eye out for those additions to be rolling out over time.
