Well, looks like tomorrow, May 8th, is the launch day for the second expansion to Destiny II. Funny, I forgot it was actually coming, considering how little I get around to playing Destiny 2 anymore.
Don’t get me wrong, I actually really do enjoy the game, but it just doesn’t have the ability to draw me in like many games used to – hell, almost no game has that ability anymore. None the less, I’ll be happily checking this out once it’s live – as I said, I do enjoy playing Destiny 2, and always like when new content is published for a game I do play.
The sad fact is this still is only so much, and won’t do much to affect the somewhat low play numbers the game has. Hell, many people say Destiny 2 is a dead game, and while I don’t quite agree with that, I will say it’s not in the best shape (which is it’s own upcoming article, I guess…)
As for the actual trailer and content in the Warmind expansion, it looks pretty cool – new Hive? I’m down for that.. if they are new and not just “more of the same.” A return to Mars would also be welcome, as I feel that planet was the least used in the original Destiny, and the Warmind computer network was also somewhat “left behind” story wise in Destiny 2 – Rasputin was an interesting concept, and I’ll enjoy seeing it fleshed out more.
Now, I just need to actually finish the first expansion. Yes, I still haven’t bothered with fully playing Curse of Osiris!
