Beginning My Trip To The U.S. Space And Rocket Center And More!

This is a fun one. At the time this is publishing and I’d hope many are reading this article, I’m on my way with a friend to Huntsville, Alabama, to pay a visit to the U.S. Space And Rocket Center! I’ve not been there since 5th grade, which was early 1996 and while I know quite a bit has changed, much has still remained the same and on a whole from what I’ve seen the museum has only gotten better so I know I’m in for an awesome time!

Incidentally, this trip happens to be occurring on the 50th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 7 – rather perfect timing that just kind of happened – it wasn’t planned for, but once I realized what would be happening during the time frame that this trip was possible, I had to take the chance.

While the Space and Rocket Center is the primary objective of this trip, I’ve got other things planned, namely a quick stop by the United Launch Alliance production facility in Decatur, Alabama. While I’ve already inquired about properly visiting the facility (which sadly is not an option) nothing prevents me from passing by – to get as close as I can to where the Delta IV is manufactured will be awesome, since it’s only my favorite actively flown booster!

This is going to be a great time, and naturally, I’m going to be taking plenty of pictures and video which will be shared here once I make it back and get rested. Of course, during the trip I’ll be posting plenty of content to my personal Twitter and Instagram pages, so you may want to follow the links provided and check those out.

Right, that’s that. More to come, as always!
