4K Launch Video Of Soyuz MS-10

Here we have an interesting clip of the initial launch and ascent of the failed Soyuz MS-10 launch on Thursday, October 11th. This footage looks to have been taken from a drone flying a few hundred feet away, and is indeed good quality, albeit still a “from the ground” view.

The video seems to end just before the incident with the booster occurred, so you don’t get to see much of that, but it does give you a steady “as if you were there” view of a Soyuz launch, with some good sound to boot.

Eh, I figure it’s worth sharing for those who may be interested. I think it’s neat. I’ve got more to come regarding the Soyuz MS-10 launch failure as well, once we know a bit more about it.
