What’s Coming For November 2018 On Xadara

It’s the beginning of the month, time for the obligatory “what’s coming” article, and this one’s going to be something else.

I know every month, it seems, I write one of these, and every month I say the same old things. You’re tired of it, I’m tired of it, everyone is tired of it. The never ending backlog is one frustration, but October really put quite a few things in perspective – that will get it’s own article shortly, but for now I’ll say this much – I got sidetracked from what I wanted to do by other things I wanted to do! There’s only so much time and space for articles, and I devoted the whole month practically to space. I’m not saying that be writing about such has to stop, but I really need to balance things out more.

October did prove to be a very dense month as far as number of articles written goes. If I can keep that intensity of writing done, I might be able to knock out the backlog and then some over the next month, while also getting back to long overdue series entries. As an example of how behind I am, I was supposed to have the Halloween AVGN episodes for Season 3 ready to go by the end of October. I’m nowhere close to those and by the time I do get to them it will probably be Christmas! So much for keeping up with the season, right?

A better focus on my own content, reviews, ideas, etc. That’s what my goal is for November. While my space articles are still all written from a perspective of “here’s what I think about this” the fact is October was so busy with such (and November looks to be equally busy) that I’m going to have to tone it back by, well, quite a bit. Of course I’m going to cover anniversaries like I love to do (Apollo 50 is just starting, after all) but article slots are best used this month for all that other stuff I just have to write about.

That all being said, it will be interesting to see how this shift will affect my views and overall stats. I guess once December comes I’ll be able to tell you all about the end results of that plan, but for now, well, I’ve got writing to do. I’ve still not even discussed the results of my “Blog Entry Every Day” project from September!

Let’s get to it. More to come, as always.
