Happy 4th Of July 2019! (With More Bonus Rocket Launches!)

It’s the 4th of July and, in what’s becoming a tradition here, instead of typical fireworks I like to celebrate online with something with a little more power behind it – rockets. Old launches, more recent ones, it doesn’t matter to me, I just enjoy seeing these machines do their thing. These aren’t all going to be the “best” videos — you may have to hunt and peck for the exciting parts but trust me

Enjoy, and as always, Happy 4th of July!

Maybe we open with a Delta IV Heavy launch from earlier in the year? A beautiful sight to say the least.
The final Delta II launch, in September of last year.
How about we go back to 1961, and these amazingly detailed high speed shots of the first Saturn booster launching.
Or how about the “greatest test flight” in history, with the launch of STS-1 in 1981?
Or maybe the final Titan III launch? That’s always a good one. Too bad the Mars Observer spacecraft failed.

I think that’s enough for now. Just a few fun little clips. I haven’t posted anything space related in many months, so this was a bit of a refreshing thing to do.

More to come, as always. Again, Happy 4th! 😀
