It’s day 6 of Shitsmas – that’s right, we’re halfway through this insanity, and here we are looking at a rarity for the Nerd – A GameBoy Color game! In this case, a game based on the Olsen twins and a then-current TV show they were the stars of. This has to be awesome right?
Yeah, you know it’s not. This is a puzzle game where you swap between the two characters, each one having their own unique abilities (one can pull levers while the other jumps higher, for example. It’s pretty straightforward and while Nerd has quite a bit to say, more about the premise of the game and just some odd traits about it, he doesn’t really go extreme as previous Shitsmas episodes have.
A reference is made to the Toxic Crusaders episode as well, but in the end the Nerd says it isn’t too bad a game, but questions the target audience — a common quandary for many a bad video game.
On a quick side note, according to various comments on the YouTube upload, this was apparently originally going to be a South Park game. Interesting.
