Oh Wait, I Forgot The Obligatory Rockets!

What is a 4th of July on Xadara without some good old American rocketry? A boring one, that’s what.

Today I think I’ll share a video I may have shared before, but if I have oh well – I’m sharing it again. This is a compilation from the late 90’s of launches from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. I won’t go into details on the video here — it will get it’s own article down the line, but I will say it includes awesome shots of Delta II, Atlas II, Titan II and, most importantly, my favorite beasts, the Titan IVA and IVB. It’s a thing to behold, even at VHS quality.

Like I said, I may go over the video in detail in a future entry, but for now, just enjoy the fireworks.

Happy 4th of July.
