The Only Fast Thing About The Twitter Rebranding — The Removal Of The Flashing “X” Logo From Twitter/X HQ.

Yes, I”m still going to call it Twitter HQ since as things stand the rebranding is still an absolute joke.

Anyway, well known to anyone following this train wreck and mentioned in my last little piece on this hilarious example of Elongated Muskrat being the megalomaniac that he is, last Friday there was a giant flashing “X” logo mounted atop the Twitter / X headquarters. This, along with the removal of “@twitter” from the building were not done with the proper permits — the removal of the twitter name apparently was forced to stop at the “er” portion, and by Monday the sign was removed — according to this MSN article there had already been 24 complaints filed against the sign. I’m Surprised it wasn’t more to be honest.

I don’t have much to say here — it’s just goddamned hilarious, and honestly impressive how quickly this was addressed. Now, if only San Francisco could handle more important problems in the city, but I digress. I truly find it funny that Musk thinks things like this are things he can get away with, and that they are actually good ideas. People wouldn’t have cared if it was a more normal sign. Sure, it would have still been illegally installed, but it would have been a minor note in all this… but it had to flash and be obnoxious to the people living right across from the building, and certainly more people for possibly a mile or more around.

He doesn’t care what people will think of his actions — he does what he wants, and knows his obsessed fans will always defend him. The fact that finally, after all these years more and more people are realizing he’s an asshat with too much money amuses me. If only people saw the obvious back in 2015 or earlier. Oh well, better late than never.
