Here we have the fresh re-upload of the entire Cinemassacre Monster Madness for the years of 2008. This time James puts his love of Kaiju on display as he covers Godzilla films, both the core Japanese films and the over-hyped piece of shit that was the 1998 American film.
There isn’t anything really too much more that needs to be said about this one — it’s an hour and a half of giant monsters destroying cities, beating the shit out of each other, and all kinds of other weird stuff you just have to see to believe. you can really tell how much James loves these movies.
There is a note that a section featuring the “Jet Jaguar” theme was cut thanks to copyright issues on YouTube, but that single MM2008 episode is linked in the video description if you want to check that out. I just saw that in the description and thought I’d share, if you’re so inclined. It’s worth it as the song is done in that awesome style Japan had going musically in the 70’s. Kind of wish I knew the name of that genre, as I want to hear more like that.
