I mentioned recently that, due to the sheer chaos of the past few months on top of literal years of procrastination, I’ve fallen behind again with what I would consider priority articles which I intended to write in December and January.
I hate when that happens, and I’m really working in 2026 to get things back to how they were a decade ago around here, and to that end I’m planning on, much like I have done in small doses in the past, writing the pieces now, even if they would be nearly a month behind their planned writing date, and set the publication dates of the posts to when they originally should have been posted, to keep the chronology of the site at least appearing appropriate.
Some writer may not be fans of this, and while I would rather not have to do this, it is an option, and the articles will still show an accurate date for the “last updated” date shown, so I’m not lying per se about the publication date — I’m just slotting them when they would be relevant systematically, right?
So, yeah, if you are a email subscriber, or pull from an RSS feed, expect a strange out-of-order set of writings in the near future.
That’s all. Thank you for your time. Please pick up something from the gift shop on your way out.
[NOTE: I am aware that these would be “pre-dated” posts, but I had already had this particular title for the alliteration and I would rather not change it, so, it stays as it is.]
