Leap Of The Tiger

Back on Lunar New Year I wrote a piece on how I’m somewhat fond of symbolism, and how I felt that this year would be one where I finally get back to action with my online presence. It would seem that time has come, as I’m really feeling the itch to get to writing not just the usual content, but to start something fresh — that something has been chosen and, were it not for the fact it’s far too late tonight to start such a potentially massive project as the one I have in mind.

While this new endeavor is certainly looking to be something that will take time and result in potentially epic-length articles as I’ve previously written, and I certainly will continue many of my previously started and much-languished series, I’ll space out this content with more manageable entries; more short form content like some of the posts which I have managed to put out in past months.

I like writing. It’s incredibly therapeutic and serves as a way for me to push my critical thinking on most any subject, be it something serious or absolutely absurd, into cementing an opinion on the subject; establishing a base as record that I can continue to develop thoughts on.

Or, something like that, anyway.

The point is, what’s coming is a very well calculated strike, and certainly not something anyone would see coming. I’ve thought long about the subject at hand, and feel I have enough to contribute to make it worthwhile. Given the subject hasn’t really changed in, oh, 30 years now, it seems once I share my thoughts it will never need to be addressed again and, for what attention it brings this site and exposure it may cause to my thoughts I can only imagine it will be worth it.

Wow, I really am making it sound like more than it is. Ah, sometimes one just has to describe things that way.

Enough rambling, let’s do this.
