One of the reasons I love using WordPress to manage my site is the massive number of customization options out there for the software – between plugins providing specific extension capabilities to the site experience and themes allowing me to quickly and easily find a look and feel that works for me as a base …

So, Where’s All The Gaming And Tech Content?
If you take a look at all the posts so far for the month of October, you will notice one common trend – they are all space related! I haven’t had a single post from the other side of things I cover, tech, gaming, and just “whatever” kind of stuff all month! The funny thing …

I’m Back From My Trip To Huntsville
Yep. The little vacation is done. I’ve actually been back since Friday but I wanted to take some time and hang out more with my friend who I went on the trip with and who was only in town as a part of his own vacation and also took Sunday to just try to rest …

Beginning My Trip To The U.S. Space And Rocket Center And More!
This is a fun one. At the time this is publishing and I’d hope many are reading this article, I’m on my way with a friend to Huntsville, Alabama, to pay a visit to the U.S. Space And Rocket Center! I’ve not been there since 5th grade, which was early 1996 and while I know …

What’s Coming For October 2018 On Xadara
A new month means a new set of plans for what I’m going to do on the site. I rather enjoy setting up a basic plan at the beginning of the month, regardless of whether I actually stick to it or not it’s at least nice to have goals, and October is going to be …

Yet Another Facebook Failure – The “View As” Security Breach
I was slightly concerned yesterday morning when I saw that I had to manually log in to Facebook. I normally keep my browsers set to automatically log me in, so any situation where I would need to log back in would be cause for some kind of alarm. I figured maybe someone got ticked by …

The Home Stretch Of The “Entry A Day” Challenge
It’s September 27th, the tail end of September and the end of my self imposed “Entry A Day” challenge where, regardless of the content, I have to publish at least one entry to this site every day in September. So far I’ve had some close calls, writing and publishing some shorter articles within minutes of midnight, …

Making Life Hell For Refund Scammers
Here we have another wonderful anti-scammer video by our friend Jim Browning. This video demonstrates another refund scam in progress, with Jim all the while watching from behind the scenes. In this case, we have a situation where somehow a scammer has convinced the victim that he is entitled to some kind of refund and …

So What’s With All The Late Articles?
I feel like I picked the worst month to devote to daily writing. I’ve stayed far busier than I expected to during the past few weeks, and I feel like this isn’t going to change as we move into the last 10 days of September. The good news is that so far I’m at 24 …

The Halfway Point
It’s the middle of the month, and I thought I would do a bit of a recap on the whole “one article per day no matter what” project. It’s quite a chore, honestly. Some days don’t permit me too much to be able to write anything substantial, while others, like yesterday, give me all the …

Blogging Problems – Being Topical, Or Writing About Topics That Last?
I’ve got more normal content coming tomorrow, but for today I wanted to cover a thought I just had with regards to what I write on any given day; a problem that most any blogger will understand and relate to. Should you write about currently trending topics, or about topics which have withstood the test …

To Schedule Or Not To Schedule
Here we go, another super rushed end-of-the-night entry, but I’m keeping my “one article each day in September” goal! I’ve been debating for pretty much the entirety of this sites heavily active period (read, the past 2 and a half years) the idea of running posts on a schedule. I’ve done this before, actually, with …

I Had A Better Article Planned, Then I Decided To Clean My Keyboard…
So, to give you the short version of the story, I spent about 2 or 3 hours today (mixed with a few other things) cleaning up a keyboard for one of my computers. It was a recently purchased Apple A1048 Keyboard which was purchased in a dirty state. I thought, since I had the time …

I’ve Got Nothing For Today, So Here’s A GIF Of Echidnas Drinking
Right, this is where you would normally have a post containing substantial content, but I’m not feeling up tot he challenge today, and rather than fail on day 5 of my “post every single day in September” challenge, I felt now would be as good a time as ever to break out this animated gif …

A 30 Minute Blog Entry About Nothing Particular
Right now it’s 11:30 P.M. I’ve got 30 minutes to figure out what I want to write about before it’s tomorrow and I effectively fail my personal challenge to write at least one article per day for September. Well, since I don’t have much time, why not a quick write-up on just why I am …
